Ash Abuesheh
Partner
Ash brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting and in industry, working across a range of sectors including healthcare (both NFP and for-profit hospitals, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Home Health, and Physician practices), private equity groups, NFP organizations, manufacturing and distribution, retail, services, and employee benefit plans.
As a seasoned professional, Ash collaborates closely with clients, managers, and staff to ensure each audit is conducted according to the team’s plan, keeping clients well-informed throughout the process. At OAK Advisors, he leverages his extensive experience to provide exceptional service and tailored solutions.
Before establishing OAK Advisors, Ash was the Employee Benefit Plan industry leader for the Oklahoma and Houston offices of a global public accounting firm, alongside his role as a Senior Manager/Director in other sectors. He also brings over seven years of experience as a senior accountant in the healthcare industry, further enhancing his specialized knowledge in this area.
In his spare time, Ash enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants with his wife and three children.
Omar Kasani
Partner
Omar has over 20 years of experience as a CPA, providing a wide range of tax, accounting, and consulting services to clients across various industries, including construction, medical practices, car dealerships, investments, retail, and wholesale. He specializes in preparing federal and state tax returns, covering payroll, franchise, sales, and other tax requirements, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
Omar's extensive experience includes representing clients during IRS audits and appeals, skillfully resolving complex tax matters. He also supports startups by guiding them through their accounting and financial setup, helping them establish a solid foundation for long-term success.
In his role as CFO for a national healthcare management company, Omar oversaw finance and accounting operations, managing cash flow, regulatory filings, and reporting, and leading a team of accountants across more than 40 states. His earlier career in consulting involved optimizing operations for major oil and gas companies, and as a Senior Auditor, he conducted audits and improved business processes in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and healthcare.
Beyond his professional work, Omar enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking with his children. His passion for family and nature complements his commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
